Ghost Peloton rides on

30/06/2014

On 16 & 17 May, Ghost Peloton mesmerised sell out audiences at Waides Yard, Leeds with its choreographed cyclists, live film mixing, live lighting arrangements and pulsing soundtrack. Enjoy the documentation of the live event harnessing the effects of time lapse produced by Alan McAteer, a creative collaborator in NVA’s photographic work, Island Drift.

As Ghost Peloton was one of the highlights of the Grand Départ cultural Festival, Phoenix and NVA have been asked to recreate the essence of this epic public art performance for a short piece to be presented at the Grand Départ Opening Ceremony at Leeds First Direct Arena.

Using the same technology, aerial dancers and BMX riders will be illuminated for this absorbing production set to a special adapted score by Ant Davey and NOVAK’s bespoke visual projection. Visit Tour De France Opening Ceremony for the full programme.
