Island Drift prints for sale

25/10/2016

Limited edition prints from our immersive photographic installation ‘Island Drift’ are available through Street Level Photoworks, where we held an exhibition of the work in 2014. Each Giclee print is part of an exclusive edition of 15; an enduring gift for any lover of Scottish landscapes.

Designer James Johnson and photographer Alan McAteer worked with NVA’s creative director Angus Farquhar and park rangers to manipulate moving and static light sources on land and water. The powerful images illuminate and dramatise the Highland boundary fault line. The temporary use of introduced light combined with the ability of McAteer to capture subtle moments of shift within natural light formations form a powerful visual expedition.
The work was created in partnership with Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park for the Year of Natural Scotland 2013.
