‘Three Trees’: this is a field drawing, by artist Cathy Treadaway, who participated in the IC event earlier this summer. The trees depicted are to be found up on Carman Moor, above Kilmahew, at the site traditionally used for the annual droving fair. Today, they are a place for remembrance, and enjoying the views. Friends and families have left wee momentos (flowers, messages, ribbons, teddies and engraved plaques) for the dear departed.
